- The Remington electric chainsaws and the Black and Decker Hedge Trimmer are UL listed and double insulated.
- Each chainsaw system has a Power Lockout Pin & Single Touch Remote Control On/Off switch.
- Power cord is juxtaposed along the outside of the poles secured by Velcro straps.
- Prior to operation, read the entire operators manual.

Operating a chain saw is inherently hazardous. Potential injuries can be eliminated or minimized by utilizing proper personal protective equipment and the safe operating procedures outlined in the owners manual
- Personal protective equipment must be worn.
- Inexperienced chain saw operators should AVOID POWER LINES!
- DO NOT USE DURING DAMP OR WET CONDITIONS, THREAT OF THUNDERSTORM OR WHILE STANDING IN WATER.
- Clear away dirt, debris, small tree limbs and rocks from the operator’s path.
- Do not start cutting trees or limbs until you have a clear work area, secure footing, and a planned retreat.
- Look for nails, spikes or other metal in the tree before cutting.
- Keep both hands on the saw poles and maintain secure footing while operating the saw.
- Keep by-standers and animals out of the work area.
- Remember, there is no substitute for good judgment.
