The entire system sets up in less than 10 minutes!

  • The pole with the three secured cord tethers is the top pole as depicted in above picture.
  • Proceed to lay out the additional pole(s) required for the height you need. (we suggest that you begin cutting some lower branches and work up the tree) so you want to be able to rest the saw head on a low tree branch. Insure that the secured cord tethers are aligned and interlock the poles.
  • The Remington chainsaw comes assembled with an integrated bracket for it to mate with the top pole. This slides on and interlocks with the top pole. See pictures below for proper interlocking.

  • Tie your approved OUTSIDE USE 16-gauge UL listed extension cord into a knot with the saw's electrical cord which prevents disconnection. See picture below.

  • Attach the cord to the poles securing tethers down the entire length of the pole(s).
  • Attach the extension cord's plug into the power on/off remote control unit. Then plug the power on/off remote control unit into your power source.
  • We recommend brushing on bar/chain oil as depicted in the picture below.  Additional lubricating instructions are contained in the owners manual.

Simple light brush on, not to heavy.
  • When you are positioned to cut, hold the pole with the saw in the upright position and then press the “on” button on the fob unit which hangs from your neck. See picture below. When you are finished cutting or you need to move, hit the one touch OFF button, and be sure you have a clear path before moving.

"The electric pole saw exceeded my expectations. The best part is I didn't have to pay anyone at the end of the day."

Bill-Pensacola, FL

"This is the best pole saw that I have ever used, and the best pole saw attachments that have made my job so much easier and less costly. An added plus that I did not expect from this pole saw was no more back strain and my shoulders no longer ache from using my old shorter pole saws. The added height benefit is huge!"

Chuck P. Rehoboth, MA
